Source: Jordan Times, AmmanDec.迷你倉將軍澳 25--AMMAN -- Snow, frost and cold weather did not stop Jordanians from preparing to celebrate Christmas and welcome the New Year.Shopkeepers interviewed by The Jordan Times this week said customers started buying Christmas decorations and gifts at the beginning of this month, stopping by shops where Christmas decorations adorn the windows beside the traditional tree.Abeer Jaradeh, the manager of a store that sells home accessories in one of the upscale malls in the capital, said people's demand for Christmas decorations is high this season."Even though some people might face financial burdens, they do not want to miss celebrating the occasion," she told The Jordan Times at her store.She noted that some people are focusing on buying gifts rather than Christmas decorations."Some do not buy new decorations because they use the same ones they used last year.
