Source: Daily News, Los AngelesAug.自存倉 02--A judge has ordered the man accused of killing four people outside a Northridge boardinghouse last year to stand trial for the murders.San Fernando Superior Court Judge Harvey Giss listened to three days of witness testimony during a preliminary hearing for Ka Pasasouk, 31, who stands accused of shooting two women and two men in the early-morning hours of Dec. 2, 2012, in front an unlicensed boarding house in the 17400 block of Devonshire Street.Giss said Wednesday there was enough evidence to move forward with a trial. The case has drawn a high level of interest because Pasasouk is a convicted felon who was arrested for methamphetamine possession in Sept. 2012, and probation officers in that case requested that he be jailed. Instead he was diverted to a rehabilitation program under the rules of Proposition 36, a voter initiative passed in 2000 that allowed nonviolent drug offenders to be placed in treatment facilities rather than imprisoned. Later, it was discovered that Pasasouk should not have been eligible for the program because of a prior felony conviction for robbery. The Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office concluded in December 2012 that a mistake had been made in the agreement on that case.Prosecutors said Pasasouk was under the influence of alcohol and methamphetamine when he shot Amanda Ghossein, 24, of Monterey Park; Jennifer Kim, 26, of Montebello; Teofilo Navales, 49, of Castaic; and Robert Calabia, 34, o迷你倉新蒲崗 Eagle Rock.Charges against Pasasouk include a special circumstance of multiple murders, which means he could face the death penalty, although prosecutors have not yet decided if they will seek capital punishment.Three other people -- Howard Alcantara, 30, Christina Neal, 33, and Donnamae Rabulan, 30 -- were arrested with Pasasouk in Las Vegas a day after the killings, accused of aiding in a felony after the fact. Maria Pachejo, 28, of Long Beach was later arrested on suspicion of destroying evidence.Neal, Pasasouk's ex-girlfriend, was among several former residents of the unregulated boardinghouse, which had housed upwards of 20 people in makeshift rooms. L.A.'s Building and Safety Department investigated the home in 2012 for nuisance, zoning and code violations and health and safety infractions. She testified during the trial that Pasasouk lived there with her until a few days prior the killings but spent the day before the shootings with her at the house, where they drank alcohol and smoked meth.Prosecutors have not publicly given a suspected motive for the killings.Pasasouk will return to court Aug. 14 for arraignment. He is being held without bail because he violated the terms of his release from an earlier prison term and probation in the Sept. 2012 drug case.kelly.goff@dailynews.com@KellyGoff_DN on TwitterCopyright: ___ (c)2013 the Daily News (Los Angeles) Visit the Daily News (Los Angeles) at .dailynews.com Distributed by MCT Information Services迷你倉出租
