Mill Plain. OnTuesday, the store will open across the street and to the west, at what used to be a television repair shop.The move was prompted by the city's plans to relieve congestion along that stretch of the major east-west arterial."We just decided to go, and be proactive," Debuse said. She'd been hearing rumors for months about the city's plans, and her landlord told her the future was uncertain. She'd seen a city map showing an extension of 104th Avenue, south of Mill Plain, that would have wiped out her parking lot."I've got 15 to 20 years left of cutting," said Debuse, who used to bring her husband and son in for flattops before becoming trained and getting hired; she bought the business in 2006. "Big Rick" Conn, who stands six-foot-five, switched professions after being laid off from his job as a computer technician and has worked with her for four years.The shop, which had a different moniker the first few years, bears the names of longtime owners Bernard Zajic, who retired in 2006, and Rolland Mayberry, who retired in 2011.Client Troy Olson, who came in Wednesday to get his flattop trimmed, said he's been getting his hair cut at Bernie & Rollies since he was a fifth grader at Sifton Elementary School. His high-maintenance style requires trims every two to three weeks and he travels a lot, so he does visit other barbers."Then I come here and have them fix it," said Olson, settled into Big Rick's chair.Federal safety grantsLoretta Callahan, spokeswoman for the city's public works department, said the city has not yet begun designing final plans to improve Mill Plain from 104th Avenue to Chkalov Drive. Early conceptual layouts showed potential for impacting businesses along the south side of Mill Plain between 104th and 107th avenues, but other options have been discussed."We are at a very early stage in the project," she said.The project, listed in the city's recently adopted 2014-2019 Transportation Improvement Program, was briefly discussed during a city council workshop last month but the city has not bought any rights of way or private property.Callahan said the goal will be enhancing safety and reducing congestion and delays along the Mill Plain corridor. The work will be primarily funded by federal grants.The city has received a $2.18 million safety grant, which did not require local matching funds, and a $2 million Surfamini storagee Transportation Program grant, which requires a 13.5 percent match. The local share will come from previously collected developer fees and a one-time local distribution related to state liquor changes, Callahan said.Callahan said that section of Mill Plain has the highest volume of traffic in the city."The signalized intersections at Southeast 104th and 105th avenues have significant operational challenges due to close spacing, which, combined with traffic volumes, limits the city's options for decreasing congestion and enhancing safety through signal timing alone," she said.She said the focus includes modifying onramps to Interstate 205, including extending the southbound ramp to let freeway-bound vehicles get out of the way of vehicles continuing east on Mill Plain and extending the left-turn lane to the northbound I-205 ramp for the same reason.The city will be working with the state Department of Transportation, school districts, PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center, local neighborhood associations and surrounding commercial property owners.Public outreach will likely start late this year, Callahan said, and the city will determine what, if any, property needs to be acquired after all federal requirements have been met and the design process is about 60 to 75 percent complete.Under the current estimate, construction isn't expected to start until 2015 and the work wouldn't be completed until mid-2016.Sad to leaveWhile moving to the north side of Mill Plain assures that she and Big Rick don't have to worry about the city's plans, Debuse said she will be sad to leave the 450-square-foot room she knows so well.The new space, at 750-square-feet, will have room for three stations, she said, and the old barber pole will be making the trip with them.In addition to their regular customers, Big Rick and Debuse are trusted with some high-profile clients. Sheriff Garry Lucas and other officers who participate in "Mustache March" every year to raise money for the American Cancer Society allow Conn and Debuse to do the honors when it comes time for a clean upper lip.They got that gig through Clark County sheriff's Sgt. Shane Gardner, who said he's been getting his hair cut at Bernie & Rollies since high school.Gardner now takes his sons there."What I love about Bernie and Rollies is that Rochelle and Big Rick treat everyone like people, not objects or jobs," Gardner said. "Rochelle used to give each of my boys the biggest hugs when they arrived. Now they are too big for that, so she just tousles their hair. But I get a hug when I leave," he said.On Saturday, the shop will be open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Gardner said he has dibs on being Big Rick's final client in the old space, and one of his high school buddies will be sitting next to him in Debuse's chair, just like the old days.While they are sad to close the 47-year-old shop, Debuse has a positive outlook about opening up across the street."The lesson is that it's not so much the space as the humans in it," she said. Source: The Augusta Chronicle, Ga.迷你倉新蒲崗July 26--A Martinez man who led police on a car pursuit Thursday night was arrested after crashing his vehicle in downtown Augusta.Javonist Lavert Gant, 21, was arrested after he escaped from his 2004 Suzuki Forenza, which had flipped at Seventh and Broad streets, according to a statement released by the Richmond County Sheriff's Office.A passenger, Jewel Sturgis, 17, of Augusta, ran from the vehicle after the crash and was found by emergency workers lying on the sidewalk in the middle of the 700 block of Broad Street. She was treated for leg pain.Richmond County dispatchers were notified of the chase about 10:35 p.m. after Gant ran a red light at 15th Street and Walton Way, according to authorities.Gant continued to drive his Suzuki, initially reported by deputies as a Ford Focus, south on 15th Street to 15th Avenue and into Dogwood Terrace. The deputy pursuing Gant lost sight of the vehicle, but officers in the area of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Olive Road saw the car turn on to King, traveling north.About 10 minutes after the pursuit began, Gant ran the red light at Broad and Seventh streets and was hit on the driver's side by a Nissan Maxima traveling on Broad toward Seventh, police said. Gant's car flipped and landed on its hood in front of the Wells Fargo building on Seventh Street.The driver and passenger in the Nissan complained of minor injuries.Gant, who refused medical treatment, was taken to a hospital and has not yet been booked in the Richmond County jail, said sheriff's Lt. 答︰房地產基金是有兩種不同的類型，迷你倉包括投資與房地產有關公司股票和直接投資房地產物業。由於買入的資產不同，它們受市場因素的影響、表現、和潛在風險也不同。如果陳小姐所指的是後者，應是指房地產投資信託基金了。甚麼是房地產投資信託基金？房地產投資信託基金是集體投資計劃的一種，透過集中投資於可帶來收入的香港及/或海外房地產項目，例如：房地產項目、購物中心、寫字樓、酒店及服務式公寓，以爭取為投資者提供定期收入。房地產投資信託基金在香港的歷史比較短，二○○五年才有第一隻房地產投資信託基金在港成立，它就是我們熟悉的領匯房地產投資信託基金。由於受到投資者的接受、加上有利的市場環境（利率持續向下）支持，繼領匯之後有不少房地產投資信託基金面世，到目前為止，全港共有10隻房地產投資信託基金。派息對比市場利率對於投資前景，筆者認為讀者應該留意兩大方面︰（一）市場利率走勢︰在美國或遲或早（但一定會）會減少量化寬鬆，市場利率向上是不可逆轉的趨勢。就以美國十年期政府債券為例，在近月吹起美文件倉儲有機會減少買債規模下，其孳息率已由2%以下，升至現時的2.5%左右。由於房地產投資信託基金的賣點之一是為投資者提供穩定的收入，投資者會把它的派息率和市場息率（如債券孳息率）比較。如果往後幾年市場息率向上的機會比向下的機會大，這樣的利率環境很自然會對房地產投資信託基金不利。（二）物業質素改善的潛力︰這指物業內在質素升級的能力和外在價值增長的能力。內在質素指物業的地點、配套、人流等因素。外在價值指整體租務市場的大環境，這取決於經濟增長、市場上物業的供應量、通脹等。領匯仍具提升潛力現時的房地產投資信託基金，除領匯外，大多數是由地產商分拆出來，相信它們在質素上可再提升的空間已不多。讀者要清楚明白，房地產投資信託基金最輝煌的時期已過去，因為未來幾年，利率環境不再像過去般對房地產投資信託基金有利。現時除領匯還有可能有質素提升的空間，其他房地產投資信託基金，在質素上可再提升空間已不多。讀者如有任何理財置業的疑問希望梁偉民先生解答，歡迎電郵至：property@on.cc存倉

港鐵3歲以上小童就需要購買車票，迷你倉出租而非身高限制；至9月2日期間，小童使用八達通乘搭港鐵來往羅湖或落馬洲站，但需要人工開通；迪士尼禁止帶食物和飲料入內；在香港文化博物館藏著一個可以玩耍的展覽，如果遊覽4個博物館以上，購買聯票最劃算……暑假期間，帶著內地來的親朋好友親子游，我們該注意些什麼？Day 01坐跨境大巴去迪士尼，住周邊酒店迪士尼參加“巴斯光年”“小熊維尼”的歷險帶著小齡B B出行，最方便抵達迪士尼的方法莫過於乘坐跨境大巴。雖然可能會錯過了迪士尼快線的一段奇妙體驗，但對於父母而言，確實省事不少。從上午8點到11點每30分鐘一班，上午11點到12點，是60分鐘一班，返程時間為下午12點45分到9點45分，每60分鐘一班，單程票價是100元，來回票價為150元。迪士尼10：00開放，記得在門口取地圖和節目表。樂園禁止帶食物與飲料進入，幾乎每個進入樂園的人都會被翻包檢查。但樂園內有直飲水，可以用水瓶接水，在樂園內購買飲料，單價在15元港幣以上。景區旅客服務中心有BB車租借。迪士尼一共有五個項目可以使用FA ST PA SS(快速通行證，下簡稱FP)，分別是“穿越太空山”、“巴斯光年曆險記”、“小熊維尼歷險記”、“獅子王慶典”和“米奇幻想曲”。拿了FP後，先去其它地方玩，到預定時間再回來，可以從快速道通過優先玩本項目。因為換取FP需要門票，因此注意保留好門票。B B最愛的項目應該是“小小世界”，而爸爸們會很愛跟寶寶一起經歷“巴斯光年曆險記”，“小熊維尼歷險記”的場景設置有些陰暗，對於3歲以下BB而言，可能會覺得有些害怕。當然，“穿越太空山”這種黑暗過山車的刺激項目還是等BB長大再說。下午3：30，米奇水花巡遊，查看巡遊路線，大約要提前30分鐘到，才能找到既坐得舒服又適合拍照的好座位。水花巡遊會噴水，要注意保護好相機。園內到處都有購物點，可以在玩了有些累了之後，集中回到小鎮大街，這裡的貨物最齊全。晚上8：45，等待精彩的“星夢奇緣”煙花表演。大概需要提前30分鐘就要找尋好位置。住宿上，能住五星級的迪士尼樂園酒店自然是最棒的，能夠感受維多利亞時代的夢幻宮廷體驗，但房價最低都在2300以上，而四星級的好萊塢酒店價格也在1650以上，且需要提預訂。Day 02地鐵轉巴士到海洋公園，再巴士轉地鐵到海港城、星光大道海洋公園乘坐海洋列車，看企鵝、看熊貓、看海豚海獅玩雜耍從迪士尼出來，乘坐迪士尼專線到欣澳站，乘坐東湧線到香港站，走一段路抵達中環站，乘坐港鐵至金鐘站，出閘後往B出口轉乘香港海洋公園的專車巴士629線。巴士從上午9點到下午4點，每10分鐘一班，費用是成人10.6元港幣，小童(4到11歲)港幣5.3元。亦可提前訂好回程票，來回票並無特殊優惠。從巴士站到公園路程時間並不長，大約20分鐘到半個小時左右。而公園開門時間為10點，建議可從9點30以後坐車為佳。記得在海洋公園門口取地圖和“今日表演時間”表，記下海洋劇場、雀鳥劇場和威威劇場的表演時間。公園亦禁止帶食物與飲料進入，但檢查不如迪士尼嚴格。上午可以乘坐海洋列車上山，旁邊，穿過熱帶雨林，就可以看到企鵝，記得一定要帶厚衣服，場內很凍。然後前往觀看海洋劇場的表演。在表演開始之前或之後，可以登上“海洋摩天塔”，環顧整個海洋公園的景色。山頂有無敵海景的“灣景餐廳”，但價格還是不菲，一份主食加果汁138元港幣到148元港幣不等。下午可以乘坐海洋列車下山，逛下香港老大街、四川奇珍館看大熊貓安安，以及海洋奇珍館。此外，千萬別忘了威威樂園，這裡有很多適合低幼兒童遊玩的遊戲項目。下午5點多，乘坐629巴士離開公園。海港城梵高展連扶手都做成向日葵的模樣，還有梵高主題的菜品可以從巴士終點站金鐘站乘至尖沙咀站A 1、C1或E出口。到8月4日，在海港城美術館有《梵高·盛夏》畫展，連扶手都做成了向日葵的模樣。此外，商場內多間食肆推出多款全新的以梵高作品為主題的精選菜式及特式飲品。星光大道與“幻彩詠香江”沒什麼好說的，這是到港遊客必看項目T O P 1 晚餐之後，可以沿著維多利亞港走出來，在每晚8點，有歷時13分鐘40秒的“幻彩詠香江”。這是每一個香港遊客必看項目的T O P1。觀賞匯演的最佳地點是由“星光大道”至香港文化儲存倉心外的尖沙咀海旁。Day 03乘地鐵到史諾比開心世界，逛香港文化博物館和沙田城市廣場購物史努比開心世界在史努比校車內拍照，乘獨木舟“探險”這是比較輕鬆與舒適的一天，而且亦可以滿足家長們的購物需求。乘坐港鐵至沙田站A出口，在新城市廣場與沙田大劇院相連的廣場上，有一個“史諾比開心世界”。小朋友可與漫畫的人物模型近距離接觸，有滑滑梯、獨木舟探趣、史諾比校車等供孩子們玩耍和拍照。不售票，有時候還會遇到工作人員派發氣球。香港文化博物館正在舉行有史以來最吵鬧的展覽千萬別被這個博物館的名頭嚇壞了。其實這個博物館可是深知小朋友的心呢。從沙田城市廣場出來，沿著河邊走到位於沙田文林路的香港博物館，你會看到有史以來最吵鬧的展覽。一場名為“藝想天開———�迪潛能之旅”正在舉行。這裡有可以敲擊的鍋碗瓢盆，有可以變成公主的華麗服飾，有可以攀爬的八爪魚雕塑，有可以騎的小三輪車，有可以隨便亂塗亂畫的博物館玻璃牆……這裡周六日及公�假期開放至晚上7點，其他時間開放至下午6點，周二閉館。沙田新城市廣場買B B用品，看塑料瓶、鋁罐的敲擊樂合奏父母可以在沙田新城市廣場內購買一些BB用品。在一田百貨的底層有玩具反鬥城和“萬寧BB”。而8月4日，在沙田新城市廣場一期一樓羅馬圓形獻技場音樂舞台，還有敲擊樂手A nna Fan向大家展示利用塑料瓶、鋁罐及水桶等容器與真正敲擊樂器合奏。然後乘坐港鐵回到深圳。更多親子游項目選擇1.時代廣場高達展覽乘坐海洋公園巴士到中環站之後，可以乘坐港鐵前往銅鑼灣站A出口的時代廣場。這裡有1：3比例的R X -78-2高達，還有高達世界里最引人入勝的真實場景。展覽時間截止至晚上10點。2 .太平山頂與杜莎夫人蠟像館乘坐港鐵至中環站J2出口，步行至花園道山下纜車站。搭太平山的山頂纜車，是登頂賞夜景最佳選擇。到中環花園道山下纜車總站乘纜車，只需7分鐘就可到達山頂。選擇靠近月台的右邊位子，便能擁有較好的視野。纜車服務時間：早上7時至晚上12時(星期一至日及公�假期)班次：大約每10至15分鐘。杜莎夫人蠟像館位於山頂凌霄閣的香港杜莎夫人蠟像館，擁有“魅力香江”、“樂壇巨星”、“風雲人物”、“世界首映”和“體壇猛將”五個主題展區，分別展出100多個國際及本地名人的蠟像。營業時間：全年上午10時至晚上10時 票價：成人港幣160元、3至11歲兒童港幣90元3 .金紫荊廣場與太原街乘坐港鐵至灣仔站A 5出口可到金紫荊廣場，A 3出口可到太原街。在金紫荊廣場上矗立著的“金紫荊”雕塑，是到香港不可錯過的合影熱點。而太原街享有“玩具街”之稱，設有多間玩具店，售賣各式各樣價廉物美的玩具，這裡是玩具迷的天堂。4 .九龍灣MegaB ox小熊維尼展乘坐港鐵至九龍灣站，之後乘坐免費的M egaBox穿梭巴士便可到達。香港九龍灣M egaB ox以“小熊維尼與好友綠色奇妙歷程”及“Q版小熊維尼與好友”為題，展出20尺高3D立體小熊維尼造型雕塑，以及小熊維尼與好友的1：1雕塑供市民及遊客拍照。時間截止至9月8日。5 .香港太空館、香港科學館、香港歷史博物館等如果是博物館控，千萬別錯過了香港諸多博物館。科技控的香港太空館，不招待3歲以下小童，很多項目甚至需要1.5米以上，近期放映《北極熊心》和《消失的海底之城———珊瑚礁》。展覽廳票價為10元港幣。香港科學館正舉行“野外生態攝影年展”。有別于過往圖片展覽，今次展覽以全新的燈片形式展出，亮麗的影像令富戲劇性的野外生態照片呈現出電影感。門票25元港幣。對於小學中高年級的孩子來說，藝術館應該具有很大的吸引力。門票10元港幣。如果計劃遊玩多個博物館，建議購買博物館聯票。成人50元，小童25元，持票者可在半年內無限次參觀下列博物館(部分專題展覽除外)：香港太空館(何鴻燊天象廳除外)、香港科學館、香港歷史博物館、香港藝術館、香港海防博物館、香港文化博物館及孫中山紀念館。以上博物館逢周三免費入場。小童出行T IP S：7月15日至9月2日期間，小童持八達通乘搭港鐵來往羅湖或落馬洲站優惠。乘客需每次入閘前到港鐵客務中心出示有效的小童八達通換領優惠，優惠需要于換領當日使用。但不用于在尖沙咀及尖東線轉車。採寫：南都記者 黃璐 實習生 關曉愉圖片：資料圖片迷你倉沙田

【本報訊】為鼓勵兒童從小培養良好的閱讀習慣，新蒲崗迷你倉民政總署圖書館與廣州市少年宮及香港不同的閱讀機構合作舉辦「2012年穗港澳少年兒童閱讀計劃」，有關活動得到多間學校及市民的支持，共吸引逾千人次參加，選出49份獲獎作品。主辦單位將於下周一舉行頒獎禮暨得獎作品展，同日將啟動三地得獎者交流營。同日辦作品展及交流營民署文化康體部文化設施處處長呂志鵬昨在民署每月平常會議上，介紹活動指，「2012年穗港澳少年兒童閱讀計劃」透過不同的主題開展系列閱讀活動、比賽及交流，加強三地少年兒童的閱讀文化交流，其中於去年9月至11月期間舉行的「時光隧道：尋找昔日生活文化之謎」活動，環節包括「懷舊回憶選舉」、「創意懷舊手作比賽」、「創意繪畫比賽」等，得到多間學校及市民的支持，共吸引逾千人次參加，反映出本澳少年兒童對昔日澳門生活文化抱有好奇及濃厚的興趣。經評審後，共選出49份獲獎作品；其中，麥芽糖更被小朋友票選為中最有代表性的古早小食。他認為，活動成功鼓勵小朋友透過親身製作勞作、撰寫文章等形式，體驗昔日有趣生活，認識澳門歷史。呂志鵬透露，活動將於下周一（29mini storage）下午4時30分在�仔黃營均圖書館舉行頒獎禮及得獎作品展，並於同場進行「2012年穗港澳少年兒童閱讀計劃作品集」首發儀式。藉�將穗港澳三地的得獎作品結集成書出版，分享少年兒童無窮的創意理念，並鼓勵少年兒童多閱讀、多寫作、多創作，持續不斷提升自身的文化藝術的水平。主辦單位亦將於7月29日至31日期間組織三地部分得獎者參加在澳門舉行的得獎者交流營。屆時將由民署圖書館義工隊帶隊，以小組形式深入本澳各區的橫街窄巷，了解澳門的風土人情，細味澳門生活情趣。最後參加者將透過各式各樣材料，設計出他們印象中的澳門模型，並與成員分享他們的所見所聞。另外，民署圖書館於暑假期間舉行「親子閱讀節」，已於7月8日至9月1日期間陸續推出，包括有主題書展、比賽、講座、工作坊及外遊等。其中「親子閱讀攝影比賽」已率先展開主題是以「親子共讀」，鼓勵家長拍攝親子閱讀的珍貴時刻，並上載Facebook民署圖書館「親子閱讀節」專頁與眾分享。每周獲最多「讚」的作品得獎者將獲贈書券及精美紀念品乙份，總冠軍可獲得香港主題公園門票乙套，歡迎市民於8月4日前上載有關相片報名參加。self storage

信息來源於四川新聞網 / Cited from http://www.newssc.org/□本報記者 楊國慶建設通用航空機場、購置直升機組建航空俱樂部、開展私用飛行駕駛執照培訓……7月26日，新蒲崗迷你倉中國航空工業集團公司（以下簡稱“中航工業”）投資總額為32億元的川南通用航空產業項目正式落戶自貢，預計該項目將在2013年底前開工建設。在川南，通用航空產業已然“起飛”。中航工業在川南布局通用航空是指使用民用航空器從事公共航空運輸以外的民用航空活動，包括從事工業、農業、林業、漁業和建築業的作業飛行以及醫療衛生、搶險救災、科學實驗、教育訓練、文化體育等方面的飛行活動。隨著我國低空領域逐步開放，我國對通用飛機的需求與日俱增。“通用航空產業投資效益巨大，投入產出比例高達1:10，就業帶動比1:12，遠高于汽車等傳統裝備製造業。”中航工業四川航空工業局局長劉平表示，通用航空產業鏈涉及冶金化工、先進材料、電子信息、新能源以及基礎設施建設、人員培訓、金融服務等各個領域。“項目�動後，將在自貢分兩期建成400米、1000米跑道的通用航空機場，並引入飛機生產裝配線、組建航空俱樂部，開展空中觀光，建設空運服務、航空物流等，開發低空飛行領域市場。”中國航空工業集團公司副總工程師楊偉告訴記者。該項目涉及產、飛、修、研等方面，將形成一個完整的產業鏈。在自貢市委書記雷洪金看來，川南通用航空產業項目將極大提升自貢市區域中心地位，形成公路、鐵路、船運、空運立體交通和物流網，豐富自貢市現有旅遊內容，輻射川南、吸引西南高端消費人群，並為引入通用航空製造業奠定基礎，是一項mini storage有戰略意義的重要工程。中航工業正是看中這一機遇，與自貢市正式簽約，以通用機場的建設為起點，引進通用航空及相關產業，共同打造通用航空產業基地。歷時3年分享產業“大蛋糕”在發達國家和地區，通用航空已成為國民經濟和社會發展的重要支撐。以美國為例，擁有通用飛機22.9萬架和1.9萬個通用機場，從業人員達126萬人。去年以來，我國陸續出台了一系列加快通用航空發展的政策措施，2013年中國低空空域改革在全國鋪開。這意味著，因低空空域放開而將形成的萬億通用航空產業爆發在即，通用航空產業前景優良。在楊偉看來，四川是航空工業大省，是我國重要的航空產業基地之一，擁有�多的科研院所和試驗基地，技術優勢獨特，配套產業鏈完善。“而放眼全省，優先發展川南城市群，通用航空產業在川南發展空間巨大。”“為了分享通用航空產業這塊‘大蛋糕’，我們開展川南通用航空產業項目談判已歷時3年。”自貢市投資促進局局長楊大全說，僅項目前期接觸、中期磋商、後期談判及合同條款與中航工業四川航空工業局進行了50余次聯繫和對接。“自貢市位於四川省南部中心地帶，與周邊宜賓、瀘州、內江和樂山形成了川南1小時經濟圈，地理位置優越。”劉平表示，自貢也是國家老工業城市之一，近期又被納入全國老工業基地改造規劃，具有發展高端製造業的雄厚基礎。據瞭解，自貢將在貢井區成佳工業園實施川南通用航空產業項目，項目總用地1185畝。“項目最終選定貢井區，還因為貢井區空域條件較好，周圍幾乎沒有任何障礙物，適合航空產業發展。”貢井區區委書記鮮光鵬說，貢井區已做好了充分準備，力爭該項目在今年10月或11月正式開工建設。self storage
