Source: The Sun, Yuma, Ariz.mini storageNov. 09--A hearing Friday for man in Yuma County Superior Court who, along with his son, allegedly sexually abused a young girl when she was between 9 and 12 years old, was rescheduled for late next month.Paz Ybarra Vega's attorney, Michael Donovan, requested the continuance, saying he had just recently begun conducting interviews in the case and that the discovery process was still ongoing. He also reminded the court that the case was designated a complex case, which allows more time to bring it to trial.Upon hearing his request, Yuma County Superior Court Judge John Nelson, who is presiding over the case, agreed and scheduled the next hearing in the case -- a fiself storageal management conference -- for 8:30 a.m. on Dec. 20.Vega has been charged with two counts of molestation of a child, two counts of sexual conduct with a minor and three counts of sexual abuse.
